⚠️ Important Installation Information

The Gate & Garage Door Company Spain

Electrical Supply

The Gate & Garage Door Company Spain is not a certified electrical contractor. All automated doors, garage doors, and roller shutter systems are installed using standard plug-and-socket connections only.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that a suitable and compliant power outlet is available at the installation location prior to the agreed installation date. We do not carry out fixed wiring, electrical alterations, or new power point installations.

If no suitable power supply is available, installation may be delayed until this requirement is met.

Automation & Components

We only install and automate doors using approved systems supplied or specified by The Gate & Garage Door Company Spain.

We do not install, connect, or integrate third-party automation systems, motors, controls, or accessories to doors that we manufacture or install. This ensures safety, reliability, and correct operation of the finished product.

Ground Levels & Structural Preparation

All doors are installed to ensure the finished door or roller shutter is level and operates correctly.

Any required ground levelling, concrete works, structural alterations, or surface preparation are not included as part of our installation service.

Where ground or structural preparation is required to achieve correct operation, we are happy to arrange quotations from qualified subcontractors to carry out any necessary pre-installation works on behalf of the client.

⚠️ Unforeseen Works & Installation Disclaimer

The Gate & Garage Door Company Spain

Unforeseen Conditions & Existing Structures

While every installation is carefully assessed in advance and existing structures are visually inspected prior to installation, The Gate & Garage Door Company Spain cannot be held responsible for unforeseen issues that may arise once installation works have commenced.

Many properties, particularly older buildings, may contain hidden weaknesses, poor-quality substrates, or previously repaired areas that are not visible during an initial assessment.

Damage to Existing Finishes

We take all reasonable care during installation to avoid damage to surrounding structures and finishes. However, due to the nature of some existing construction materials — including cement-rendered walls, plaster finishes, tiles, or aged masonry — minor cracking, chipping, or surface damage may occur during drilling, fixing, or installation.

Such damage is considered beyond our control and The Gate & Garage Door Company Spain cannot be held liable for damage to existing finishes where this results from underlying material weaknesses or pre-existing conditions.

Additional Works

If unforeseen structural or installation-related issues arise that prevent safe or correct installation, works may need to be paused. Any additional remedial works, alterations, or repairs required will be discussed with the client and, where necessary, quoted separately.

Where appropriate, we can assist in arranging qualified subcontractors to provide quotations for any additional works required before installation can be completed.
